Whalebird Kombucha is a fast growing small business in the SLO community looking to immediately hire an energetic and positive individual to join the team full-time as a delivery driver & account manager.
Time Demand:
Due to business impact from coronavirus, hours will fluctuate and initially could be as low as 1-2 days per week. Job will work its way up to a full time 40 hours a week Monday through Friday.
Job Description:
Delivery: straightforward delivering of product to various locations. Takes a bit of heavy lifting as kegs can be a bit heavy.
Account Management: Role is essentially the face of Whalebird. Get to know the business owners, work with them to make the best possible presentation/shelf space for Whalebird, make their experience working with us great. This part is really important.
Draft Tech: occasionally the draft systems will need maintenance and repairs. We'll train on how to trouble shoot a draft system, make routine maintenance when necessary. In times when deliveries are slow, we may want extra help with other projects around the brewery which could include packaging, buildout, cleaning, or maintenance. Expect to be a helping hand towards whatever needs the most help!
Mandatory abilities/criteria:
Clean driving record
Lift 60lbs easily
Drink Kombucha a lot
Bend, squat, hunch, stoop,
get down and dirty when needed
affection for disco balls
organized and detail oriented
