Seeking an experienced care provider to assist a gentleman who had a stroke and has lost some mobility. The duties would include occasionally assisting him in and out of the shower, helping him get dressed, delivering meals, light housecleaning, and some shifts involve picking up or dropping him off at events/family gatherings (using the family's vehicle). The ideal candidate would have experience with in-home care and be willing to assist in his progress. He needs minimal assistance and only needs extra assistance with transfers into his bed in the evening. Daily tasks are provided prior to each shift. Compensation depends on experience.
The following shifts are available:
Tuesday: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Thursday: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
The gentleman was very independent before the stroke and continues to enjoy his space. He has a great, sarcastic, funny personality, and prefers to spend his days in his home with little interaction.
