Title: Building and Grounds Technician
Elemental is looking for a Building and Grounds Technician to help run their retail cannabis dispensary in the San Luis Obispo city limits. This location is still in development and will have a future start date with a full offer letter if you are the right fit.

This role will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, odor control, access control, cleanliness, and other requirements of the facility. We're looking for a professional who can be proactive in identifying issues before they occur while staying flexible enough to address problems as they come up. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with customers, security personnel, employees, and management effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Represent Elemental in a positive and compliant manner
⢠Maintain landscaping including irrigation to fit in with the surrounding area
⢠Maintain signage, plumbing, HVAC, odor control, access control, and electrical systems
⢠Proactively fix or replace worn out or failing equipment to ensure minimal downtime
⢠Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke and other safety systems in accordance with state/local laws
⢠Keep parking lot, sidewalk, and all surrounding areas free of trash debris
⢠Work with tools and supplies as necessary to complete projects
⢠Source and contract with outside contractors as needed for repairs and maintenance beyond your abilities
⢠Help maintain consistent state and local compliance regarding the overall facility with the guidance of management
Skills and Requirements:
⢠2+ years of previous facility management experience over 2,000 sq. ft.
⢠Working knowledge of small-scale building maintenance and repair including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
⢠Knowledge of OSHA standards
⢠Must be 21 years of age or older
⢠Willingness to work in and around a licensed cannabis dispensary
⢠Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
⢠Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above
⢠Throughout extended periods, must be capable of climbing ladders, sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day.
Compensation: $16.50/hr + Health Benefits
