Summary

We are a female-founded upcycling design studio, creating sustainable boho-modern leather accessories from vintage designer goods. We foster creativity, collaboration, and career growth in a beautiful artisan production environment. We give back to our community, practice product sustainability, and provide a white-glove experience for our customers. We work on location in our studio and production facility headquartered in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Your amazing responsibilities and opportunities will include:

- Dividing your time between creating artisan leather goods, and packaging and shipping products.

As a Leather Crafter, you will be:

- Measuring, stamping and cutting leather hides, designer leathers, and canvases.

- Operating leather working machines, including hand operated and industrial machinery

- Repurposing designer leathers and upcycle pieces into new products

- Building leather accessories exactly to the customer’s specifications

- Maintaining required level of production output and the highest quality of artisanship

As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll also do these very cool things:

- Be the sole shipper for our boutique business

- Coordinate domestic and International shipping.

- Complete order tracking and supply orders

- Prepare and log manifests for daily / weekly orders shipped.

- Coordinate and assure the staging, restocking, cleanliness and efficiency of the shipping area.

- Coordinate the box construction and packaging to ensure a luxury experience for our customers.

- Print and adhere labeling, print manifests and prep for USPS and International shipping.

- Deliver UPS/FedEx packages as needed.

Job Specifics

- $15 an hour

- Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm OR 9am-6pm (TBD)

- Full Time position available in our Studio (position not available remote)
