Well established, high quality sign and large format graphics company is seeking self-motivated, full time sign/graphic design and production team member. Proficiency in Adobe CS and most importantly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required. ALL applicants considered for position will be tested at company expense for software proficiency.
Strong typography, color theory and layout skills are needed. We love Font Junkies who know the difference between Arial and Helvetica.
Ability to accept art direction, constructive critique and creative input from owners and clients is demanded.
You must possess the necessary skills to work in a fast paced environment with good multi-tasking ability to manage your workload. Interacting with and assisting clients is an integral part of the job. File organization skills and general computer proficiency are expected. Some basic hand tool knowledge and willingness to learn are essential to be considered for the position.

The position is a combination of a graphic design position and production work. A willingness to assist with simple, mostly ground level installations of vinyl graphics, signs and production of other signs in the shop and on location is required.
Experience in a sign, graphics or large format print work environment is preferred but similar experience may substitute for it.
Our workload demands flexibility and the ability to develop additional skills beyond computer graphic design only.
We design, build and install beautiful signs and graphics of many types. Basic proficiency with hand tools, rulers, measuring devices and the ability to follow verbal and written directions are needed. This a great opportunity to help create functional, effective signs, vehicle graphics and displays.
Hours can vary depending on workload with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week ranging up to full time nearly year round. Occasional overtime if necessary may be requested with advance notice. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without limitation.
Punctuality, reliability and a sincere eagerness to learn are huge assets. Attention to detail, being pro-active and self-motivated are vital.
