Veritas Vans is a dynamic, innovative company dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-quality products in-house. From concept to completion, we handle the entire process under one roof, ensuring precision, creativity, and efficiency. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and moving fast to deliver exceptional results!
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated Manufacturing Foreman to join our fun and fast-moving team. If you have hands-on experience overseeing and running 3-axis CNC machines, a willingness to learn design tools like Fusion 360, and are excited to work in a vibrant, hands-on environment, we want to hear from you! No need to be an expert—we’ll help you grow your skills!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of 3-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts from 3D models, assemblies, and drawings generated in Fusion 360, while leading a small team of operators.
- Support the transition of designs from concept through to CAM programming and execution for in-house manufacturing, ensuring smooth workflow and quality control.
- Collaborate with our in-house engineering and production teams to ensure parts are machined efficiently and optimized for our on-site processes.
- Generate and refine toolpaths, CAM setups, and perform quality checks during CNC machining or other fabrication methods, while training and mentoring team members.
- Optional: Interest in automation, robotics, or manufacturing technologies is a bonus.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback to meet project deadlines.
- Bring creative ideas to enhance product functionality and streamline in-house production.
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in running and supervising 3-axis CNC machines (familiarity with Fusion 360 or CAM software a plus but not required).
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in CAD/CAM workflows and in-house manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts and/or weekends as needed to meet production demands.
- Optional: Some experience in product design, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing is a bonus.
