Seneca's Mobile Response Team supports families in serious distress with immediate crisis intervention and mental health services. The Health Information Specialist maintains client charts with a focus on the quality assurance of the program. Salinas, CAResponsibilities:

Maintain client charts according to HIPAA and Seneca Family of Agencies regulations.

Monitor Medi-Cal documentation. Track required paperwork to ensure that it has been completed and received according to established programmatic, county, and state guidelines.

Conduct Quality Assurance Review of all clinical documentation as well as other required paperwork.

Cover telephones as needed.

Distribute required information to various agencies.

Responsible for all Billing Information System entries.

Dismantle charts completely upon client discharge. Prepare charts for storage.

Act as liaison with various agencies including but not limited to, educational representatives, mental health, other county representatives.

Run weekly and monthly reports as directed by supervisor.

Maintain department purchase order request.

Photocopy, fax, and distribute incoming mail.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required

Must be 21 years of age or older

Excellent organizational, analytical, computer and communication skills

Ability to prioritize projects

Ability to work as a team member

Valid California Drivers License

TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
