Customer Support Specialist

The primary duties of this position will be customer service and sales over the phone and email.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to grow with a startup company and have an obsession for details and accuracy.
Duties:
Assist with managing quotes, orders, deliveries and logistics
Learn Milgard Windows & Doors product knowledge
Assist customers with sales and technical information about windows via email and phone
Assist the owner with business development – this may range from doing research to building spreadsheets and writing SOPs
This position will consist of a large amount of fielding phone calls and helping customers with product knowledge, logistics, and sales
Skills & Requirements:
This industry has a steep learning curve, and will require someone who is truly driven to learn the product and industry knowledge. An interest in building products or construction is mandatory. Experience with building products or construction is a plus, but not mandatory.
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications
Typing 60 wpm
Confident and friendly phone presence
Obsession for details and accuracy
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Creative and proactive approach to problem solving
Desire to grow a company as well as within a company
An interest in building products or construction is mandatory. Experience with building products or
construction is a plus, but not mandatory.
