We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional to keep our office running smoothly while our current Office Assistant is on maternity leave.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Office Assistant to cover maternity leave with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time or full-time role afterward (based on performance and company needs). This is a great chance for someone who enjoys variety, works accurately with numbers, and wants a potential long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
Enter vendor invoices into accounting software (Premier Construction Software) for Accounts Payable
Match invoices to purchase orders and subcontract agreements
Scan, file, and organize financial documents
Answer phones, greet visitors, and handle general incoming inquiries
Light data entry and filing
Provide backup support for other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general office administration (1+ years preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, docs, sheets, etc.)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Professional, friendly demeanor and reliable attendance
