We are seeking a Full-Time (30-40 hours/week) Sales Associate to join our team and provide our customers with the high level of service they have come to expect.Duties for this position include:Serving and Selling to customers in all areas of The UPS Store - such as shipping, packaging, print and copy services, document finishing, etc.Working with center and print managers to quote and sell print products to new and existing customersCleaning, restocking, and general maintenance of the store environment and equipmentProviding outstanding service to all our customers
Candidates should have experience with POS (point-of-sale) electronic registers, possess general computer knowledge, and have familiarity with Microsoft Office products, PDF files, and basic email systems.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in a print/copy shop or mailing/shipping store. Basic knowledge of design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.Candidates must:
• Be able to lift 50lbs.
• Be willing to wear a uniform
• Have solid references and provide them at time of interview.
• Be bondable (i.e.- not convicted of a crime in the last 7 years.)
• Complete required training as provided
Detailed training is provided. Opportunity to become a Notary Public and/or Livescan Fingerprint Technician is available. Advancement to an Assistant Manager position for the right candidate.This position is for both The UPS Store at 1241 Johnson Ave and The UPS Store at 793 E. Foothill Blvd. Candidates must be willing and able to work at either location. The stores are open M-F 8:30am - 6:30pm, Saturdays from 9am - 5pm and Sundays 11am - 4pm. Must have availability for weekend shifts.The UPS Store is an independently owned and operated franchise. The position offered is with the stores listed only, and does not represent a position with UPS, Inc.
Wage $12-14 per hour, DOE.
