Jennings Aeronautics/UAV Factory is a San Luis Obispo, CA based company designing and manufacturing best-in-class small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS). Our portfolio includes aircraft deployed with the USMC, USAF, UK MoD as well as 56 additional countries. Our current premiere family of Stalker and Penguin aircraft feature long range/long endurance, vertical take-off and landing all with minimal ground support requirements. We specialize in building full systems from concept to deployment utilizing multidisciplinary teams that bring together software, electronics, composites, hardware, and flight dynamics. About the Position
A network administrator/IT coordinator is a critical part of our admin team, responsible for developing and maintaining the hardware, software, and servers for our team. The network administrator will interface with every member of the Jennings’ team to keep their technology working and secure. A successful network administrator will have a passion for the technical details of running IT systems as well as supporting others.
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizen
No clearance required
Chief Duties and/or Responsibilities:
Delivery, setup, installation, troubleshooting, update, and repair of all hardware and software (workstations, printers, phone systems, etc.) for a team of 50 people
Work with our IT provider to maintain the network, servers, and VPN
Provide IT support to all team members
Communicate, discuss, and listen to challenges with management, teammates, etc.
Base Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT
Experience running networks and servers
Familiarity with cybersecurity topics and practices
Knowledge of network architecture and technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Unending patience with machines and the people who use them
Computer (Windows PC) competency in MS Office and MS Excel
Additional Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in IT
Ability to run and terminate network cables
Experience developing/upgrading networks
Experience with VoIP system setup
Can apply puns in most settings
IT and cybersecurity related certifications

Hiring Requirements:
This is an part-time position, requiring 30-40 hours per week during normal business hours.
