The Fuel Tankwagon Delivery Driver is a full time non-exempt hourly position, Pay range $20 - $23/hour DOE. Monday through Friday (working hour window between 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.). Probable after hours and weekend work as needed (call out by company cell phone). This position will report out of our Paso Robles location.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

Must possess a Class A or Class B Commercial California drivers license with cargo tank, hazmat and airbrake endorsements. Driving record must be clean.

Knowledgeable and fully understand the operation and use of all equipment on each fuel delivery truck and loading rack.

Deliver gasoline, diesel fuel and renewable diesel to a variety of customers and different types of equipment.

Back-up drivers on vacation or out due to sickness.

Required to keep inside and outside of truck clean.

Must take and follow direction from dispatcher to make assigned deliveries.

Must inspect truck at beginning of each shift and report in writing via Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspection Must notify dispatcher of any problems or issues with load rack at time of discovery.

Review Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Must be familiar with safety, spill/overfill and recovery procedures.

Possess the ability to comprehend instructions and follow established company policies and procedures.

Good communication skills are essential.

After proper training, will be required to back up delivery of lubricants as needed.

Skills: (required)

Proficient with PC computer programs, Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Skills: (desired but not required for position)

Past experience as fuel driver and/or route delivery driver.

Knowledge of service area.

Petroleum and fuel product knowledge.

Experience, knowledge of truck pumping and metering systems.

Haz-Mat certified training.

Cargo tank/placarded vehicles.

Regulatory, permit and compliance as to: air resources, water quality, weights and measures, Highway Patrol, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Transportation, and other agencies as needed, required.

Essential Physical Functions:

Frequent standing, sitting, bending, lifting, able to lift 80+ pounds and climb ladders up to 6 feet safely.
