The accepted candidate will join the software development team in the Research Informatics and Software Engineering department, playing a key role as an analyst by leveraging their analytical skills, and help the team to implement innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities include
Define, document, and manage requirements. Create and manage business analysis lifecycle documents such as functional requirements specifications and integration requirements specifications. Interact successfully with internal stakeholders, research users, software engineering team and support personnel to develop scope documents, design documents, storyboards, and process flow diagrams including facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess many of the following:

• Demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, facilitation and presentation skills.
• In-Depth experience in creating and documenting detailed requirements for business processes
• Ability to analyze and define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for developers
• Hands-on experience creating use case scenarios based on user requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to follow through process and attention to detail
• Trained to work both independently and in a team setting
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer centric approaches
• Good communicator with active listening skills
• Demonstrated fluency in tools like MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucid Chart, JIRA and Confluence

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biotechnology, Biology, or other related degree and 3 or more years of Business Analysis experience in Science or Health Care.
