Research Associate I

Contract Length: 1 year

Contractor Job Benefits: Eligible for medical, vision, dental, paid sick time, and 401K.



Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Performing assays and supporting lab maintenance.
  • Handle biohazardous and cytotoxic materials and adhere to corporate safety standards in all aspects of the work
  • Utilize automated liquid handling systems and robotic systems and will analyze data and report results using specialized software in multiple assay methodologies.
  • Maintain GLP/Google Cloud Platform compliance in supporting clinical and nonclinical studies and will apply thorough and accurate documentation skills.


Summary of Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MS degree with atleast 3 years of experience in either academic institutes or biotech/pharmaceutical companies
  • This individual should have prior lab experience and familiarity with cellular and biochemical assays with automation.
  • Assay development experience is preferred.
  • Experience preferably in a testing environment that includes HPLC/ELISA with GLP/GMP knowledge.
  • Competent in using various data analysis and reporting software such as Microsoft Excel, Prism, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills, team-oriented, dependable, and self-starter
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instruction.
  • Able to apply analytical skills and judgment in assessing the quality of assay data and assay performance.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and meet timelines efficiently and productively.
