The Company: This South San Francisco company is an extremely exciting mid-size bio-tech client that is focused on gnomic testing and has several products that are being used around the world for diagnostics.
The Role: This system administrator role is focused around maintaining the IT infrastructure for this client and help trouble shoot system hardware, software, and networking issues. You will be working with multiple departments such as sales, marketing, scientists, and executives so having good interpersonal skills is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
Experience administering Microsoft Server and Unix/Linux server environments
Experience imaging desktop systems in both Microsoft and Apple environments
Experience with administering Juniper switches, routers and corporate firewall
Experience with AWS-based cloud computing (EC2) and storage (EBS/S3) services
VMware ESX or other enterprise level virtualization technologies
Requirements:
5 years of experience minimum of system administering
Minimum of Bachelors in relevant major
Experience working in the bio-tech industry
