We have a job for you call us 209-365-0747 TODAY to secure your spot with this new and exciting opportunity!ResponsibilitiesGeneral Material Handling:Prepares new gaylords for replacement on the line
Inspect loaded pallets before pulling from the line
Pulls and replaces gaylords
Closes full pallets as directed
Stages pallets for shipping
Pallet and Sack Loading :Arranges pallets to best utilize package flow on conveyor
Utilizes appropriate pallet for each particular customer
Utilizes RF scanner to scan the pallet ID, scan parcels, place packages into containers
Handles and loads parcel sacks using the proper methods
Line Feeding:Positions pallet appropriately, cuts stretch film or opens postal sacks or bags to free
freightStack packages on feed conveyor with labels facing up or forward
Set aside any opened, damaged, or empty packages and inform supervisor
Move and empty pallets
Induction scanning:Select package off feed conveyor and scan package using specific scanning guidelines
to ensure an efficient scanning speedEnsure scan corresponds with mail class being processedThe essential functions of this role include:standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
