Front of House Lead for Food and Beverage.(Westlane Restaurant & Bar)

This employment opportunity is for a Front of House Lead. The candidate for this position will be responsible for supervising in the Food & Beverage staff, preparing and conducting performance evaluations. This position oversees and supervises day-to-day operations assisting the Food and Beverage manager to consistently deliver excellent customer service by ensuring quality of food and a memorable experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Front of House Lead will effectively provide supervision, training, communication techniques, service strategies and education on current trends in order to meet the overall company goal of remarkable, distinguished and reputable quality services, resulting in customer satisfaction.

Be passionate about food, service integrity and the quality of the dining experience.

Be visible during key hours of operation in the restaurant and be available to both guests and staff.

Ability to resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Communicate to management any concerns or compliance issues that need to be addressed as well as make recommendations for necessary disciplinary action.

Direct daily dialogue with staff to determine if they have the appropriate tools and skills to perform their job.

Handle staff concerns in a timely manner and follow up performance issues

Able to train and support newly hired staff and implement policies and procedures in a professional manner

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Supervisor position in the Food & Beverage industry a must

Open Availability is needed. Nights, weekends, is a must

Excellent interpersonal skills

Effective communication and problem solving techniques

Efficient and creative with ways to improve the quality of service that our establishment provides

Experience of using a POS system and strong mathematical skills

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Current/Valid Serv Safe Food Handlers Card and a complete understanding of all sanitation and food safety guidelines

Experience:

(1) Year + of experience in a hospitality environment

(1) Year of supervisory experience in which you had provided direct supervision over daily business operations and staff

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
