Job Summary:
To accurately maintain and receive wine packaging element inventories.
Essential Functions:

Receive, tag with inventory amount, and store all bottling supplies including but not limited to, verifying quantities, entering information into the computer system accurately, and sending reports to respective departments
Ensure materials requiring approval from quality control are entered into the system, sampled and tagged for hold until released
Load and unload wine transfers from other facilities including but not limited to; confirming quantities, size and wine type, enter information into the system, and transporting wine to storage area
Assist in wine storage and shipping as needed under direction of Production Supervisors
Review B.O.M’s and assemble the proper materials for upcoming projects, and weekly bottling’s
Complete the line supply reports and send to proper personnel
Pre-stage all materials to production lines and validate accuracy of materials to be utilized
Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Food Safety & Quality Policy
Organize and mail wine material requests to other departments
Participate in production planning activities
Maintain clean & organized warehouse area and office space free from safety hazards
Assist with training of new Receiving Agents & Forklift Operators
Respond to request for samples of materials and wine
Actively participate in annual inventory activities
Participate in miscellaneous production projects as required
Responsible for accurate record keeping of inventory and BOL documentation
Lead daily pre-shift huddles with receiving teams and communicate any information needed support bottling production needs
Update Gemba Boards daily with accurate information
Periodically report on team performance
Perform daily inventory reconciliation
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities
Provide support to other departments upon request
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma
Experience: 2 or more years of forklift/warehousing experience
Familiar with the operation of forklifts, clamp lifts and transporters
Knowledge of inventory process, SAP and WMS
Punctuality and reliability essential
Good communication and mathematical skills
Mechanical aptitude
Good observation and analytical skills
Able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions and take direction
Able to respond to frequently changing production pressures
Able to work effectively and cohesively within a production environment
Must be able to work any shift
Working Conditions:
Moderate to heavy physical work
Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
Extensive walking and lifting of up to 40 pounds
