CERTIFIED JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN WANTED$35.00-$45.00 per Hour DOE
We are a family owned business in Northern California. We serve: East Bay, Central Valley, Sacramento, Bay Area and surrounding areas. We are seeking Journeyman Electricians with Commercial and Multi-family experience. Must have great communication skills, maintain high levels of quality assurance, quality control, and complete follow through on each project. Only qualified candidates need apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely install and repair electrical components, products, wiring diagrams, motors, controls, panels and circuits
Strong electrical, troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
Testing electrical systems and wiring using devices, such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
Knowledge in conduit bending, wire pulling and terminating electrical panel
Working with crew members to complete projects within established policies and procedures
Maintain high levels of quality assurance, quality control and completing tasks in a timely manner
Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner.
Must be familiar with updated NEC codes
Reading blueprints and wiring schematics
Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations
Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met
Strong working knowledge of job site safety.
Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environmental elements, overhead, heights above 10, navigate up and down ladders and able to lift 50+ pounds
Requirements:
Current Certified Journeyman Electrician Card
At least 7 years verifiable experience in Commercial Field
Ground up restaurant experience a must
At least 5 years verifiable experience in Multi-Family Electrical Field
A working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Uniform Building Code (UBC), OSHA Safety Standards, local & utility jurisdiction requirements.
Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other job specific requirements
Must be good with pipe installations and switch gear AS WELL AS residential applications including panel changes, can lighting installations, underground troubleshooting and general electrical applications such as ballast replacement.
Background check, drug free and clean MVR required
Must be open to additional training courses and classes
