SUMMARY
This is an entry-level Wash Rack Tech position that will be responsible for daily tank wash work orders. You will be responsible for the washing and sanitizing of tanker trucks. This position is labor-intensive and requires great attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal flush/dry bulkers & inspection
Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning.
Sump cleaning.
Hose testing/cleaning.
Pump flush.
Drive equipment.
Tank entry.
Operation of hand tools.
Wash work orders.
Assist in wash order scheduling.
Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
Must be able to work in all weather conditions and be able to use a large high-pressure water hose.
Responsible for proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in various situations
Working with water that may reach up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position involves physical exertion
Requires standing, lifting up to 50lbs
Requires pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, occasionally stooping and crouching in confined spaces; Requires walking, climbing, speaking and listening.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of standard materials, tools and equipment, and skill in the use and care of tools.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
SALARY
$15.00 per hour plus overtime
WEEKLY PAY - Direct Deposit available
Three Shifts Available
12:00am – 8:30am
8:00am – 12:30pm
4:00pm – 12:30pm
Saturday: Currently Saturday work is mandatory.
Shifts subject to change based on business needs.
