VBC Bottling/Seven Up Bottling is hiring for Warehouse Night Loaders for our Stockton facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.

Safely operate: electric and gas forklift, single and single/double forklifts, pallet jack, baler and trash compactor.

Fuel gas forklifts as needed.

Daily safety inspection of forklift.

Load tractor trailers to include: inspecting trailers, loading trailers using correct loading pattern, completing loading documents and placing.

Process damaged finished goods using established guidelines.

Understand and follow customer truck loading procedures.

Use radio frequency (RF) scanning unit to: complete truck loading process, perform location inquiry, and pre-stage orders.

Pick orders manually or through multiple warehouse management systems to retrieve product from specified locations in warehouse.

Follow established pallet collapse handling guidelines to clean up spilled product.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.

All other duties as assigned.

Regular and punctual attendance.

Understand and adhere to damaged goods receipt process.

Perform location transfers for product using radio frequency (RF) unit.

Receive and put away stock in warehouse using warehouse management system.

Follow established product hold procedures to include: locating and placing or removing tags on non-conforming product, placing product in non-shippable/on hold status in warehouse management system, documenting location of non-conforming product, and keeping accurate count of acceptable product or product losses.

Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance, and check for accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.

Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as working in a team.

Demonstrate attention to detail, a professional attitude, and produces accurate work product.

Must be enthusiastic and proactive.

Must have a cooperative attitude.

Must have the ability to follow-up.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred

Three months related experience and/or training

Or, equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be proficient in math

Single and double forklift certification preferred

Language Skills: English is required.

Physical Abilities:

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to occasionally carry, push, pull loads of 50 lbs.

Ability to occasionally bend, reach, squat, and stretch
