Case Manager / WRAP Program
Warrant Reduction and Advocacy Program (WRAP) Case Managers are answering and facilitating compliance referrals from probation, parole, and the courts and for providing relevant social services to those referred. These services include, but are not limited to, assistance with family and/or personal concerns and post release planning.
WRAP Case Managers report to the WRAP Director of Reentry & Jail Programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two-year college degree from a community college in Criminal Justice or Social Sciences
OR two years experience with case management and/or group facilitation in the area of criminal justice or social service
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Bilingual English/Spanish
Work experience within a correctional facility, community corrections, or with a similar population
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer compliance referrals from probation, parole, and the courts through client and family contact (by
phone or in person)
Facilitate communication and compliance of clients to probation, parole, and the courts
Assess client strengths and needs in employment, medical/mental health needs, housing, transportation, legal
services, and education
Develop case management plans and set goals/objectives with clients to ensure compliance to court and probation requirements
Provide support to clients in communication with their families
Refer clients and their families to community resources to cope with and manage emergencies
Attend all required meetings and training
Prepare accurate and timely reports monthly
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid California Drivers License and auto insurance
Weekend and evening availability, when necessary, to meet the needs of the program
Treat staff, colleagues, and clients with respect and dignity
Communicate effectively, written and orally
Physical capacity to lift and carry containers and materials up to 20 pounds (utilizing safe and accepted
methods to avoid injury), walk .25 miles on inclement weather and in the dark , and move quickly, in case of
an emergency

COMPENSATION:
Full-time, 40 hours /week, M-F @ 20.00/hour
