PROGRAM SUPERVISOR, ELIGIBILITY AND TRAVEL TRAINING
Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Program Supervisor, to organize, direct, coordinate, supervise and administer the activities of Paratransit, Inc.s field office, including conducting eligibility interviews and assessments of existing customers and new applicants for ADA paratransit service in order to determine the functional ability to use public transit services; providing one-on-one and/or group mobility training to eligible program participants in the proper and safe use of the local transit system; overseeing the coordination of the volunteer mobility mentor program; and providing outreach to community groups and agencies, as needed. This position is assigned to our office in Stockton, California office. Paratransit does not pay for or provide reimbursement for relocation expenses. This position is open until filled.
The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Minimum of one years supervisory and management experience
Minimum of one years experience working with people with disabilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to train, schedule, direct, supervise, and evaluate the work of others
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own work and the work of others so as to meet specified time lines/deadlines
Ability to identify problem areas or situations quickly, isolate problem causes, and take appropriate action to resolve problems identified
Ability to use computers, including software programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and database programs
Ability to create and give presentations to community groups
Possession of a valid driver license
Possession of appropriate car insurance as designated by Paratransit, Inc.
Salary:
The salary range is $2000.00 to $2080.00 bi-weekly depending on qualifications.
