Eagle Construction, a leading restoration contractor working in the homeowners insurance industry, is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team. This is a clerical support position which is essential to overseeing and maintaining the progression of claims from initial assignment through project completion. Must be comfortable working on the phone and interacting with both homeowners and insurance adjusters. Previous experience in the insurance restoration industry preferred.
Must be able to work individually and willing to handle various tasks throughout the office including contacting and following up with clients and adjusters, setting up new files, contracts, scheduling, accounts receivable, data entry, scanning and closing files.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Track insurance claims through various programs and update required control points
- Phone and email communication directly with homeowners and insurance adjusters
- Follow up and data entry of job status notes
- Obtain, scan and upload certificate of satisfactions and any other required documents
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed
- Assist office in answering incoming calls
- Contact homeowners and adjusters for approval of estimates, contracts and change orders
- Set up new files, scanning, filing and closing files
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous A/R & A/P experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and phone skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
- Detailed and accurate data entry
- Critical thinking with ability to see what the next step is
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
- Works well with others as a team player
- Previous insurance restoration experience preferred
- Must be punctual and reliable with own transportation
Full Time - Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
