Stable manufacturing company seeks an experienced IBM iSeries RPG Application Developer to join the close knit IT team at their gorgeous office in the Redding area.
Education - BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
Experience - 5 + years of current experience in RPG, C++, VB.Net or a similar application development environment.
Duties - analyze user requirements then design, create and maintain applications using RPG on the IBM iSeries platform.
Code, test, debug and document new and existing programs to optimize performance.
Work closely with user departments to resolve specific problems, often requiring changes in application design and individual programs.
Travel to various locations as needed.
