Requirements:
Compassionate and eager to help out others
Patient, kind and helpful
Have your own car that is 2010 or newer
Have a clean driving record and background
Flexible availability during the week, 9-5
Comfortable making $20-30/ hour and working part-time, flexible hours

Onward Rides is not an on-demand rideshare service.
Onward Rides is different in two distinct ways. First, our rides are scheduled and you get paid by the hour, not the trip. This allows you to plan around your schedule and drive when works best for you. Second, our passengers are seniors or those who need a little extra help. This may include things like getting in and out of the car, or waiting for them while they run an errand.
This role requires working with the elderly. Caring for seniors and older adults - those with cognitive delays, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, hard of hearing, visually impaired and those with physical assistance needs. Elder care is an important contribution to our community - caring for seniors gives back.
This is a great opportunity for anyone with a flexible work schedule. Nurses, medical professionals, CNAs, caregivers and homecare agency works make a great fit. Retirees, volunteers or those with assisted living, retirement community experience are also a great fit. Individuals who currently work from home, students, seasonal workers, interns, contract workers, or people looking to earn additional money on the side, with ample flexibility. Onward Rides drivers come from a variety of backgrounds and industries, including customer service, sales, retail, the restaurant industry (including barista, bartender, server, and waiter/waitress, restaurant host, hostess, bus, bus boy), human resources, messenger, bike messenger, transportation worker, courier, delivery driver, finance, marketing, data entry, food runner, administrative assistant, account manager, contract worker, cleaner, baby sitters, babysitter, caregiver, teacher, education, and intern but no previous experience in these industries is necessary. If you want to assist riders, weekday availability is key. Many Onward Rides drivers have also worked at Care.com, Grubhub, Seamless, DoorDash, Eat24, Caviar, Munchery, Saucey, Google Express, Amazon, Handy, Shyp, Peach, Flywheel, AmazonFresh, Instacart, Sprig, Luxe, Zirx, Lyft, Uber, Uber Eats, Wag, and Postmates.
