Description:
Title: Supplier Quality Engineer, Mechanicals
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 Months contract
responsibilities:
RC/CA of day-to-day issues at CM and escalate to Google lead based on priority
Work with suppliers (global) to understand root causes and organize information for Google leads
Support maintenance of Supplier dashboards, metrics, and triggers
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Education:
Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering with experience in Sheet metal manufacturing (preferred)
Non-Engineering candidates can be considered if they have strong sheet metal process knowledge and/or prior experience managing suppliers
Total years' experience in what industry, discipline, or responsibility:
3+ years experience in sheet metal manufacturing/Quality engineering/Supplier quality experience skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for the role :
3+ years using Quality Engineering fundamentals (Cpk, SPC, Tolerance Analysis, Root cause, 8D)
Specific Tools or Applications experience:
Google Sheets/Docs experience is a plus
JMP data analysis skills is a plus
Certification or license:
QE certs are a plus (CQE, CSQE etc)
