We're a team of inquisitive and energetic real estate, construction and facilities operations professionals that are constantly searching for new ways to improve workplace efficiency and make Google a great place to come to work everyday.The client : Food Program The Food Services team is responsible for creating food experiences that promote collaboration and engage and energize clients throughout each day. With more than 220 cafes globally serving over 175,000 meals daily, the team works with a variety of vendors to provide great service, delicious food and innovative food experiences. As an Associate Project Manager you work as part of a regional team and support the development process that creates the spaces where clients interact with food. From our ever-popular Micro Kitchens to multi-course meals at cafes, the design, layout and experience of eating at client should promote healthy habits and social serendipity for clients. Our food venues need to support the healthiest, happiest workforce on the planet and you help to ensure everything gets done by the right people at the right time to bring these venues to life.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOrganize /facilitate project meetings, starting from kickoff to final punch list. Stakeholders present include: client, architects, operators, food service consultants, internal PM peers, etc.Assist food design managers with day to day queries/issues/concerns.Produce comprehensive meeting notes, drawing mark-ups, and follow-up communication reports from specific food team lead meetings.Coordinate Food Design Team related activities on the account including consolidating any comments from the operations team.Reporting and managing project related data, i.e number of projects, values, savings.Assist in the development and on-going maintenance of Food Design docs, templates, and Food Team Project Drive Folders.Update and manage project documents for all phases of the project.Maintain compliance of food design program + ensure timely issuance of required deliverables.Manage and share project guidelines sites for food design compliance requirements.Simultaneously manage large numbers and various types of projects and teams, including small/medium size projects (IE: micro kitchens, coffee bars), with minor supervision.Simultaneously manage multiple and various types of projectOther duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team). Responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience in design (Architecture/Interior).4+ years of professional project or management work with a focus on architecture, design, or hospitality design related fields.Experience within food service or retail operations and flow either through direct experience or professional design work.Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with self-motivation and initiative.Detail oriented with the ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects in different phases simultaneously, with little direct supervision.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESPMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.REASONING ABILITYAbility to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESIntermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful.
