Description:TEKsystems' devices client is looking for SDET's to own test case backlog management (burning through manual test cases with automation scripts in Python/Java on AWS) for cutting-edge technologies and devices. These individuals will assist in increasing test velocity for a new product/service rollout that is covered by NDA. These individuals must have a strong coding experience with computer science fundamentals including strong knowledge of commonly used data structures and algorithms. They also need to have experience building and maintaining DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in an AWS environment.The responsibilities of this person will include:Creating test automation scripts generated in Python in an AWS environmentReviewing backlog of manual tests and automating as many manual tests as possible to increase velocityUpdating existing automation framework as needed Partner closely with engineering teams to identify unique bugs and solve complex problemsValidate code quality to ensure the team is maintaining high standards to meet business goalsUtilize DevOps best practices by building, testing and deployment of code in an AWS environmentTest plan/strategy generation and scopingTest management/ownership of deliverables for specified feature areasThese individuals will have the opportunity to contribute to a quality product rollout by ensuring the proper number of test cases are run to improve the quality and the customer experience.Skills:Software testing, Test case, Qa, Agile, Automated testing, Test plan, Test automation, Development, python, test planning, mobile testing, device testing, Functional Testing, Qa Testing, Manual Test, Automation TestingTop Skills Details:Software testing, Test case, Qa, Agile, Automated testing, Test plan, Test automation, Development, python, test planning, mobile testing, device testingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Ownership & Delivers Results - able to own things & deliver on them.
