We design and develop holographic waveguide displays for augmented reality applications. Formed in 2003, we license optical nanomaterials and holographic printing tools to leading manufacturers of waveguide optics. Our first commercial waveguide HUD for aerospace launched in 2016 and led the forthcoming automotive and eyeglass-thin wearable AR displays. Job Details
Basic Qualifications: M.S. / Ph.D in Optics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, with 8+ years industry experience (5+ years with PhD), or equivalent. Excellent optical design skills with Zemax / Code V Passionate about optical engineering and (AR/MR/VR). Experience with tolerance analysis, polarization analysis Experience with optical system design and trade offs Familiar with optical alignment tools and techniques Familiar with lasers and light sources A mix of R&D + Product Development experience Proficiency in set up, use and alignment of optical components and related test equipment
Preferred Skills & Experiences Proficient with MATLAB/LabVIEW, or equivalent environments Direct experience of near-eye or heads up displays for AR/VR Practical knowledge of microdisplay technology a plus Knowledge of diffractive/holographic technology is a plus Experienced in the assembly of optical systems, including handling and cleaning of optics, interpreting technical documentation, describing optical system components and assembly procedures
