Title: Software Developer in Test
Contract: 6+ months
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or DevOps. Focus on automated testing of back end services exposed via API or CLI and correspondent test framework design Excellent understating and proven experience of testing Distributed Computing systems, preferably Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka Hands on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and/or AWS Ability to use both stand alone tools and CLI (Bash) to assist with testing (Curl, Postman) Solid knowledge of Git and GitHub flows Proficient Java and/or Python, comfortable with Bash scripting in Linux environment Familiarly with other programming languages like NodeJS and Go, CI systems like Jenkins are big plus Soft skills must include ability to and willingness to learn new topics quickly and independently
The goal is to assist with test automation of backend services exposed via API and CLI using Java and other programming languages, and be able to quickly assert functionality / do exploratory testing using standard no-coding tools. This position"s tasks might also include but will be not limited to creation of API testing framework for micro-services, GitHub repository management and reporting solution, Quality Dashboard and API integration service.
