DescriptionThe ideal candidate would be able to quickly learn our systems and publication processes.
They would be responsible for working with Project Managers to obtain content and making sure the content gets published in a timely manner.
Attention to detail is critical. Be able to work under pressure and meet release deadlines.
Write documentation for advanced users, including reference docs. Emphasize technical accuracy and bring clarity to complex processes.
Be able to verify translated work for cohesion and integration.
Review documentation for adherence to the style guide and to Equinix standards.

Use Jira to track issues.
SEO experience is a plus.
Be able to work remotely, attend all required meetings, and interact with team members on Zoom or Teams, with minimal supervision.

Skills:

2+ years work experience in a writing capacity.

Prefer knowledge of tools such as MadCap Flare, Visio, SnagIt, and Git.
Demonstrate experience in writing and proofreading of content, especially technology-related content.
Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to handle stressful, time-critical projects and deliver great user outcomes.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or related field required; Master’s degree or PhD ideal
