A fast-growing connected cars company is looking to bring a Sr. Software Engineer onto their team on a contract-hire basis. This company is one of the cutting-edge leaders in providing electric autonomous vehicles and are ramping up at a very fast pace. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be architecting and implementing their backend platform, implementing new tools, and work the decision making process with the team as you build a new, scalable backend system.
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Java coding
• Working with Spring Boot frameworks
• Proficient working with messaging tools, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.
• SQL or other MySQL database experience
• Experience working with public cloud technologies, AWS preferred

Desired Skills & Experience

• Microservices experience
• Experience architecting, designing, and implementing backend platforms
