The Service Technician provides water tests, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and installations for Culligan equipment and products including water coolers, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, filters etc. The technician’s goal is to provide the maximum amount of service to clients in order to exceed their expectations.
Each Service Technician Candidate will be trained in the following skills by “on the job” training with a certified Culligan Technician and by completing the Culligan University Online Training. The online training includes milestones and tests that indicate the progress of the skills of the learner.
Service appointments (annual, maintenance, and other service calls) using computer data and maintaining confidential customer information.
Retrieve field and laboratory water tests.
Perform equipment diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, upgrade, and maintain equipment.
Advise customers of needed repairs or upgrades. Inform customers of maintenance agreement opportunities. Sell new equipment and supplies.
Completing paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist others with delivery and installation of products/equipment.
Provide excellent maintenance of personal or company vehicle, company tools, and company equipment.
Communicate in a positive manner with customers and staff.
