Delivery Driver wanted
I am looking for a driver that would like to service the Greenville / Taylorsville / Crescent Mills / Indian Falls area.

Requirements:
-No speeding tickets or accidents within the last 3 years (this is not absolute; however, it will affect your insurance cost)
-Reliable SUV with 4x4 (the larger the better as you must fit your route in your delivery vehicle)
-You need to be able to work for 4-5 hours a day
-Work days are M-F only
-Work day will start at Noon
-Drivers must deliver in inclement weather assuming the road is passable and safe
-Need a valid driver's license
-Must have held valid driver's license for at least 5 years
-You will need commercial insurance for the vehicle you will be driving (don't let this scare you off, email me, this is not difficult to get)
-You need a smart phone, the new the better, all routing will be done on a provided software utilizing your personal mobile device.
-A Garmin or TomTom type GPS device is not required, but smart to have
-You need to be able to deliver packages that can weight up to 75lbs (these are very rare, and you can use a dolly)
Description
This is a contractor-based job for my company Coia Courier Services. All of my drivers (25 as of now) are independent contractors (1099). My company provides delivery services for Ontrac, located in Reno, Nevada, however you will pick up your deliveries from my facility in Susanville Ca. You will lease and be issued a scanner, battery, and charging dock which will cost $20 a week. Most of the available routes will range in pay; total time required to complete the route and total stop volume on the route will determine your income. Most of these routes are being completed in 3-4 hours, however expect longer as you will need to learn the route before you can be proficient. You will be paid every Wednesday by direct deposit. This is NOT a temporary job. I would like the chosen driver to live in the community that they service, this reduces the amount of commute time, increases overall profitability, and helps as you will likely know the area. The majority of the packages are to residences, however you will also service businesses.
**This is not Starbucks, calling in sick is highly frowned upon and could lead to termination depending on the circumstances. You will be the only driver on the route you are assigned, what doesn't get delivered one day, will pile up to the next, and this is NOT acceptable. You as a driver have to understand that the customer expects their package on the day they are supposed to receive it. At other places you may have worked, calling in sick may not have been a big deal, this is not that job. If you'd like a day off, just request a day off. That being said, days off must be requested 10 business days prior to the requested day in order to coordinate coverage of your route.
