DescriptionRobert Half Finance currently has a full-time real estate opportunity for a Senior Accountant who's looking to build their career in a thriving, dynamic setting in the Tarzana, California area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and reporting. This position offers a great long-term growth potential, including a strong compensation and benefits package for the candidate. We are looking for a candidate that possess excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the successful growth of the firm.Your responsibilities in this role
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Real Estate industry experience is preferred
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
3+ years of overall general accounting experience
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
ERP system experience
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
