Principal/ Lead .Net Engineer

One of our top clients in the East Southern California area is working on a large scale project and has an urgent need for a Team Lead/Principal Software Engineer to join their team. They are a SaaS company in the financial space and recently rewrote their main platform.
Open to Direct Hire or Contract to Hire. This will be remote until offices open again, but may remain remote or partial remote in the future. Looking for Engineers local to Southern California or willing to relocate in the future. Our client is unable to sponsor, please contact us for information on this role.
Below is a BRIEF job description.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 3 Engineers. but strong leader as this Engineer will lead 3 others.
  • Assist in elevating the team
  • Take initiative regarding when to code yourself and when to divvy out to others
  • Help dig in and diagnose problems and fix production issues
  • C#/.Net hands on coding and architecture
  • Software integration
  • REST API development

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field or related experience
  • 7+ years experience with .NET development tools, Visual Studio, and C#
  • Experience as a team lead or principal engineer for a software team
  • WPF, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API and Windows Azure
  • Strong coding and data experience, as well as integration
  • SaaS experience is a plus
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOA, Design Patterns, and Engineering Best Practices
