Our client is seeking a Senior BSA/Scrum Master. They are in the financial software industry and we have worked with them for many years. This will be a true 50/50 split BA/Scrum Master position. So they are seeking someone who understands requirements and writes user stories, as well as leads scrum ceremonies. Below is a brief job description. • Performs requirements gathering and documentation with clients, internal users, and third party vendors for systems development, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Develop and clearly document functional business specifications for new projects.
• Work with external and internal clients to identify systems and process solutions that will enable new business opportunities. Calculate the IT resource needed to implement these new solutions.
• Lead and develop User Acceptance Testing plans, coordinate testing, and document test results of new systems functionality and processes. Provide level three support on new features and work with development staff as necessary to resolve issues.
• Assist the Manager Business & Systems Analysis to develop and modify procedures required to resolve complex business problems in many forms
• Document IT projects & reporting to management.
• May train and guide the work of less experienced Business Analysts

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst with Scrum Master experience
• Knowledge of writing functional requirements and specifications for software development projects.
• Ability to research, define and analyze business problems.
• Ability to work with internal users & external clients to develop detailed, clear functional specifications for software development and for enhancement of existing software.
• Ability to work & communicate effectively with IT and Operations personnel.
• Knowledge of software development and maintenance methodologies
• Proficient with Windows Operating System, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Visio, and MS Project.
