Robert Half is looking for a

Senior IT Project Manager who has experience managing large scale enterprise projects valued at $5 million dollars or more. The Sr IT PM will be responsible for tracking and reporting key project metrics, ensuring project goals are met, act as a leader to less experienced resources, and provide regular structured feedback to management.

This role is a

long-term, multiyear contract employment opportunity with an exciting, technically progressive client based in the Torrance, California area. You will work with industry leading professionals for a fast paced, globally recognized company to help drive forward critical business initiatives.

MUST have managed projects > $5M, with examples

Onsite requirements are 1 - 2 days a week.

Your responsibilities:

- Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met

- Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes

- Provides administrative support to project managers and project leaders

- Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers

- Coordinates and works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects.

Requirements

- Conduct Daily requirement / design and sprint meetings

- Manage Project Budget

- Conduct Weekly & Bi-weekly status meetings

- Manage Oshore team

- Coordinate between business units, IT teams and vendor partner

Knowledge, skills, abilities, traits, certications, years of experience, to successfully perform job function

- Experience managing projects valued at > $5 million USD

- Advanced ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole

- Advanced understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets

- Advanced ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality

- Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identied

- Advanced understanding of multiple project management disciplines

- Experience as Business Analyst and Product Manager

- Experience with Clarity or similar reporting system

- 7 - 10 Years of IT work experience

- 5 Years of Managing projects
