Job Description

  • Inspects, tests, repairs, and replaces all types of motors, drives, transformers, wirings, and electrical signals.
  • Experience with logic relays and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Programing PLC’ and logic relays are desired but not required.
  • Experienced working safely on voltages from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase.
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting mechanical components, Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, and conveyors.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and instrumentation drawings.
  • Good skills in root cause analysis.
  • Experience with CMMS software managing work orders, inventory, and P.O's. Basic skills of Microsoft and other PC applications.
  • Familiar with lock Out/Tag-out procedure, electrical safety, and NFPA 70.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
  • Work with original equipment manufacturers engineers and attend required technical training or assigned related college classes.
  • Knowledge of building systems including MEP.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Can order and organize spare parts required for repairs and PM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work with outsourced services to maintain fire pump inspections, testing and maintenance, backup Generator, Solar system, and Air compressors.
  • Schedules Sub Contractor work and overseees such work

Qualifications

  • You have at least 2-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility
  • You want to be part of a dynamic team that is fast paced, where you embrace ambiguity and collaborate across teams to develop maintenance strategies, systems, and processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage
  • Comply with all workplace safety requirements including but not limited to
  • Personal protective equipment (hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection)
  • Equipment lockout – tag out procedures
  • Electrical safety procedures – (i.e. NFPA 70, lockout/tag out, arc flash,

  • Be exceptionally dependable, honest, and trustworthy
  • Have time management skills
  • Have basic math skills
