Hiring a Quality Control Technician for a great food company in Tracy, CA! Start ASAP!Pay rate: 18 hourlyDescription:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Collect olive samples prior to the pitting process and perform USDA count per pound.
Perform the mathematical calculations required to properly fill the USDA form
Maintain work area in clean, neat, and orderly condition.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Follow all safety rules and regulations, including active participation in the prompt identification and communication of safety hazards.
Must be available to work overtime as needed, with or without advance notice.
Must be able to work any shift and weekends as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Meet all productivity and efficiency standards as outlined by management.
10 Immediately report all food safety and food quality issues to supervisor.Qualifications: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsexcellent organizational abilities; ability to use scales and calculators. Production environment; exposure to heat and cold. Additional Skills & Qualifications:Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, experience of food safety and quality. Food industry experience & laboratory experience preferred. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Proficient computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel) Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and work ethic. Production Environment; expose to heat and cold.
