Job Description

  • Business follow up of current and new accounts
  • Develop, support, and train new accounts
  • Building and maintaining customer relations
  • Prepare bids and quotes for products; answer customer inquiries
  • Perform product installations, scientific verifications and new account start up
  • Present product & technical information
  • Develop a Marketing strategy for product
  • Coordinate the development of marketing tools and activities for each product (e.g. brochures, posters, giveaways, training manuals, etc.)
  • Preparation for regulatory activity (FDA clearance)
  • Recognize and communicate product issues, complaints, improvements and resolutions
  • Attend conventions, sales meetings and training programs as required by management 1=-
  • Communicate project status to company as required
  • Assist with service of equipment when needed
  • Assist with testing/studies as needed

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Spanish language skills a plus
  • Product management experience
  • Sales experience
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,Test Designer,Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox
  • Willingness and abilityto learn other software programs

Basic Minimum Requirements:

  • General Laboratory knowledge (use of equipment; pipetting; personal safety, general lab practices)
  • Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards (ISO) pertaining to medical devices
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of laboratory work in the molecular field
  • Ability to present scientific and business information
  • Technical knowledge of molecular testing procedures
  • Ability to communicate technical information and problems with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to learn new & existing instrumentation and software technology
  • Diplomacy and tact in resolving issues with customers and co-workers
  • Customer oriented
  • Ability to identify, solve, and coordinate resolutions to problems
  • Ability to travel on short notice for periods of up to one week
  • Must be able to coordinate own work travel arrangements
  • Record data, make computations, analyze results, and write reports
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Must maintain a valid passport for international travel
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
