Job Description

This role will report to the Outcomes and Evidence Manager and support the Guardant INFORM program.The successful applicant will have a outcomes research and healthcare claims analysis background and will support the development of evidence across the spectrum of observational research, reimbursement and payer evidence generation, and the generation of novel scientific contributions to the field and academic publishing.

• Contribute to cross-functional team with responsibility for ensuring the successful development and deployment of the Guardant INFORM program.
• Contribute to the execution of observational research
• Able to analyze data within standard statistical software packages (SAS) and prepare materials for presentation to specialist and generalist audiences
• Able to manage large database extractions using sql coding
• To contribute to the preparation and critique of academic scientific publications
• Able to adapt to novel methodological approaches to outcomes research in a rapidly advancing field of study

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in relevant field of study (health economics, statistics, mathematics or other relevant)
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology companies or payer environment
• Evidence of original scientific contribution to the field of health economics and/or outcomes research preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams in a highly matrixed environment
• Ideally candidate will have had experience in both healthcare claims analysis and outcomes research, though the former is strongly preferred for this role
