OverviewPeraton, an industry leader providing innovative solutions for space, critical Intelligence Community missions, and offensive and defensive cyber operations has an immediate openingfor aSystem Administratorfor Vandenberg AFB. The Systems Administrator will support our Consolidated Air Force Space Command Modifications, Maintenance, and Operations (CAMMO) program.ResponsibilitiesProvide support for 24/7 mission system software on the Air Force Satellite Control Network
Perform PMIs, when not supporting mission operations and/or factory compatibility testing
Review, install, checkout, coordinate and troubleshoot mission system patching requirements released in quarterly Software Maintenance Actions (SWMA)
Password management of all core LRUs
IRON database coordination and install
Daily maintenance logs, to include pulling lift logs, scanning and formatting data for review
QualificationsRequired QualificationsExperience working in LAN operations, maintenance, and support functions
Possess an active Secret Clearance
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
Able to lift 50lbs, to waist level, unassisted; occasional lifting in excess of 50lbs is required as part of a two-person lift for larger items. Appropriate PPE will always be used
Desired QualificationsExperience with Air Force communications networks
Experience in network management
Extensive knowledge of broad-based networked computer environments and Windows Server
Understanding of Linux system administration
