Key elements of the PLSSS program include satellite launch processing, transport operations, propellant loading operations, and processing facilities Operation and Maintenance (O&M), clean room operations, and safety and environmental services. The program’s two operating locations are Vandenberg AFB, CA and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL.We are seeking a Security Systems and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Engineer who will be responsible for the design, purchase, installation, integration, validation, commissioning, accreditation, troubleshooting, and updating of perimeter intrusion detection and video management systems, software, and servers.The selected candidate will work alongside the industry’s most talented mechanical, civil, electronic, and electrical engineers. Must hold a CompTIA Security+ or higher certification or be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire. The applicant selected must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance (TS/SCI) for access to classified information.Desired Skills: Design, integration, and troubleshooting of Security and Event Management systems and software, e.g., CCURE 9000. Balanced Magnetic Switches, Tampers, Card Readers, Field Panels. Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Alarms. Digital Video Recording and Playback. Multi-channel networked video recording/archiving. Multi-channel networked video switching and playback. Fixed and PTZ CCTV cameras (IP and Analog). Audio/Video systems. Experience integrating Security and CCTV systems with each other. Experience with Cinemassive, Evertz, or similar Video Wall technologies. Experience with system security scanning and patching for accreditation. Experience with the XACTA accreditation process. Experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing Local Area Ethernet Networks. Experience terminating and testing fiber optic cables. Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
