Description: Support the Communications Focal Point (CFP) with maintaining network and data center environments (includes servers, chassis, arrays, computers, switches, routers, et al), job ticket assessment and resolution, training others, presenting solutions to management/customers, scheduling and assignment of work, purchasing equipment, evaluation of new software/hardware, providing input for issue resolution, and documenting system configurations. Work exists on a military installation and will be alongside both Air Force customers and other industry partners.Basic Qualifications: Must have valid US Driver License Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or CISSP or CASP) or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends/holidays to support specific project/program/mission requirements Minimum 0-2 years experience with system administration and related information systems, computer/network securityDesired Skills: Previous Range experience Knowledge of communications networks for classified and unclassified range systems Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or VMWare Certified Associate (VCA) or knowledge of those disciplines Experience with blade servers and/or Storage Area Networking Ability to work well in a team environment and with Air Force and contractor customers (customer service mindset) Ability to meet time and cost-sensitive deadlines and be a self-starter Possess excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills BS degree in an associated discipline (Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience troubleshooting, analyzing, documenting, and providing/implementing solutions for hardware and software problems Experience with Linux and Microsoft operating systems Experience with Windows file/print/web services, DNS, Active Directory Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop platforms, including MS SQL Basic understanding of network topologies/protocolsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
