Currently seeking an Accounts Payable Processor for an opening in Agoura Hills, CA.

Responsibilities of the A/P Processor:

The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for departmental administration and documentation support in regards to invoice payment activity including research, check payments and payment batch entry support.

Supports department with vendor invoice payment activity including EFTs, printing and mailing out checks, including distribution of checks to internal departments.

Performs compliance activities by scanning checks into database.

Performs research relating to invoice discrepancies.

Voids and reissues invoice check payments to vendors as needed.

Supports Accounts Payable department with administrative tasks including opening of Accounts Payable mail photocopying, scanning, faxing and collating as needed.

Performs data entry including posting payment batches into system on behalf of department.

Participate in and work on special projects as assigned by AP Manager.

Requirements:

AA Degree in Accounting OR 1-2 yrs of experience in A/P.

Exp processing 100 invoices a day/500 a week.

Excellent communication skills. Eager to learn, detailed oriented, sharp, organized.

Exp working in mid to large sized company doing A/P.

$16.00-$20.00/hour

Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
