Accountemps is currently on the search for a determined and results-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client's growing organization in the Calabasas area! This Accounts Receivable Clerk is a temporary position with the possibility of full time. The Accounts Receivable Clerk position will report directly to the Accounting Manager, will play a vital role in contributing to the team's efforts to grow revenue, and will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the department. -Post customer payments
-Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits
-Update receivables from invoicing
-Maintaining company records
-Researching/resolving discrepancies if any
-Resolving deductions/entries
-Reviewing payment plans, collectionsResponsibilities:
-Work cross-functionally converting new/updated sales orders to billing and invoices
-Resolve A/R and billing issues with clients via email and phone
-Apply credits to client accounts
-Record payments
-Process billing statements for small-to-midsize enterprise accounts
-Handle cash receiptsRequirements:
-Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable 1+ years of experience in role(s) with similar responsibilities
-Month-end close and account reconciliation experience
