The Customer Service / Sales Support / Order Processing position offered by Fabricmate Systems, is responsible for performing all aspects of service and support related to orders and scheduling.

Key areas of responsibility include, order entry, assisting with quotes or proposals, issuing purchase orders to vendors, troubleshooting problems, answering customer questions, providing outstanding customer service and making process improvement suggestions.

**Sales Support**

• Individually, or under the direction of management or senior personnel, performs sales support activities such as, but not limited to, data entry, market research, mailing of marketing and sales-related materials, etc.

• Acquires and continuously develops knowledge about company products, key accounts, competitors and important opportunities and/or sales leads.

• Develops basic ability to read plans and specifications.

• Become able to use effectively resources and tools provided by the company, including online services, CRM, product information, competitive product and/or sales information and technical library

**Order Entry**

• Processes customer PO's to ensure accurate / complete information and contacts customers to resolve any errors.

• Ensures all required order information is entered correctly in to Company account system and that work orders are processed efficiently.

• Promptly relays work orders to production and notifies team of any special requests or custom requirements.

**Order Scheduling**

• Tracks order status vs. customer request dates to provide necessary follow-through to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.

• Communicates with customers, vendors and internal team to plan production scheduling and ship dates.

• Proactively updates clients on their order status and any potential issues with meeting promised deadlines.

**Customer Service**

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or other communication methods to provide answers to transaction-related and product/sales-related questions.

• Maintains a positive and friendly attitude during all customer interactions.

• Handles difficult situations calmly and with confidence.

**Sales & Quoting**

• Responds promptly to all quote opportunities, questions and requests from customers and prospects.

• Documents all transactions and customer-related activities in the company accounting and ERP system.

• Performs prospecting-related activities both independently or under the direction and supervision of management and/or more senior sales personnel.

**Educational and experience requirements include: **

Associate's degree or an equivalent level of training or experience

Relevant experience in an inside sales or customer service role in our industry or an equivalent skill set

Proven ability to manage order entry and work order processes

Strong scheduling and communication skills to coordinate with production

Proven ability to assist with quoting, proposals, and customer requests

Strong problem solving ability

Strong customer service and people skills
