Sober Coach Agency seeking a sober coach.
MALE ONLY NEEDED AT THIS TIME 3+ hours per day/ 7 days per week for 30 days.
The sober coach is a seasoned treatment professional who helps clients at any stage of the treatment/recovery process stay on the path to recovery. Sober coaches challenge and support the client to make the necessary lifestyle changes to become and remain abstinent and help the client avoid the frustrating and triggering elements that lead to relapse. They help the client establish goals, develop a strong community and family support system and learn how to enjoy a higher and healthier quality of life, wellness and balance.
Must be Sober and have knowledge of AA.
Primary responsibilities include: Organizing, facilitating, and implementing activities to promote client social and coping skills. Accurately conveying client behavior and status, client response, and client programs both verbally and in-writing to clients, families, and members of the treatment team.
Qualifications: High School Diploma is a plus. 6 months of relevant experience in Social Work, Behavioral Health is preferred. Excellent verbal, interactive, and communication skills. Patient, professional, and compassionate personality. Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent Customer Service skills.
Must be sober and have prior experience as a sober companion or sober coach.
Competitive pay 25-45/hour
Job Type: Part-time
Required experience: Knowledge of A.A. and sobriety.
